Julianadorp is a cozy and lively village and Julianadorp aan Zee is, as the name already reveals, located directly on the sea. Here you can enjoy the cleanest beach in North Holland, ideal for sea and beach lovers! The dune area also provides plenty of walking and cycling pleasure. The area around Den Helder / Julianadorp regularly has the most hours of sunshine in the Netherlands. CAN Holiday homes also offers a bicycle rental service. History

Julianadorp was originally a farming village in the municipality of Den Helder. Before the village was named after Crown Princess Juliana in 1909, it was called “Koegras”. Where cows and sheep once grazed in the meadows, there are now bulb fields.

Colourful fields of flowers

Ieder jaar in april en mei gebeurt er iets moois. Er ontstaat een feest van kleur op de bollenvelden. De meest prachtige bloemen in de meest uiteenlopende kleuren staan vanaf april volop in bloei. Het bollengebied van Julianadorp is onderdeel van het grootste aaneengesloten bloembollengebied van de wereld. Tijdens deze periode worden er vele activiteiten rondom de bloembollen georganiseerd, waaronder helikoptervluchten waarbij u de kleurrijke velden vanaf boven bekijkt. Of breng een bezoek de Floratuin en pluk een bos tulpen met een keuze uit wel honderd soorten! Een overzicht van de activiteiten is te vinden op de website van Kleurrijk Julianadorp.

In de maanden juni, juli en augustus worden er ook verschillende markten en braderieën in Julianadorp georganiseerd. De kustplaats is van alle gemakken voorzien. Zo zijn er twee kleine winkelcentra voorzien van ruime parkeergelegenheden. Hier kunt u terecht voor uw boodschappen bij diverse supermarkten en drogisterijen. Ook zijn er diverse (kleding)winkels en restaurants in de omgeving van de winkelcentra.

In het centrum van Julianadorp vindt u agrarisch museum ‘Weten en werken’. Zodra u het museum binnenstapt waant u zich even terug in de tijd. Het museum heeft oude werktuigen van zowel landbouw als van de veeteelt tentoongesteld maar laat ook zien hoe men vroeger leefde. In de collectie vindt u oude gereedschappen, gebruiksvoorwerpen en kleding. Dit museum is gratis te bezoeken.

Julianadorp biedt veel voor vermaak voor jong en oud. Naast natuurlijk het mooie strand zijn er nog zat leuke activiteiten om te doen. Beleef waterplezier in het subtropisch zwembad, maak een strandrit te paard of neem surflessen. Liever een balletje slaan? Julianadorp heeft een prachtige 9-hole golfbaan maar ook een leuke midgetgolfbaan. Huur een kano en vaar de kanoroute helemaal van Julianadorp tot Den Helder. U vaart door de bloemenvelden tot het prachtige natuurgebied ‘Mariëndal’. Geen held op het water? Langs deze route loopt ook een prachtig fietspad. Julianadorp en omgeving biedt genoeg vermaak voor een ieder, van jong tot oud!

Vakantiepark Strandslag

"Strandslag" Holiday Park is a beautiful, spacious and child-friendly bungalow park in Julianadorp aan Zee. The location is excellent, with the beach entrance within walking distance of the park. Ideal for beach and sea lovers! The park offers plenty of opportunities for children to be children and play to their hearts' content. There is a playground, trampolines, football pitches, a boules court, two tennis courts and a mini golf course. If that's not enough, there's always room for fun at the bowling alley. In addition to the restaurant in the park, where you can also buy fresh sandwiches, there is also a barbecue restaurant. This restaurant is located above the bowling centre.

De Keizerskroon

Holiday park "De Keizerkroon" is located between the beach and the charming old centre of Julianadorp. The bungalow park is spacious, so you can always enjoy your privacy. Children can play safely on the green lawns without you having to worry. Bungalow park De Keizerskroon has a restaurant, several small playgrounds, a table tennis table and a football field.

De Yperhof

"De Yperhof" is a small and quiet park with approximately 60 holiday homes. The outer ring of these holiday homes overlooks the beautiful bulb fields of Julianadorp. The park also has a playground with fun play equipment suitable for children of all ages. From this park, you can quickly reach the beach, and it is close to the Julianadorp canoe route.

Residence Juliana

The peaceful and well-maintained Residence Juliana holiday park is located directly beneath the dunes of Julianadorp. The park consists of several buildings containing apartments for four people. Many apartments have views of the beautiful dunes and bulb fields of Julianadorp. The dunes, the sea and the cleanest beach in North Holland are within walking distance. The Residence Juliana park is closed every evening and is maintained daily by CAN Holiday Homes.
